We are delighted that you are interested in hiring the Rossendale Male Voice Choir, and hope that the following information will prove useful. If your particular queries are not answered below, then please contact us, and we will try to help.

Events 
The choir has been invited to perform in a wide variety of situations, from major charity concerts and fundraisers, to private parties and civic events. Please see below for a list of some recent bookings.

Fees
The cost of booking the choir starts at £300, plus any additional expenses incurred. Where a coach is required (beyond 35 miles from Rossendale), the cost of this also needs to be added to the choir fee. We do however take our local responsibilities very seriously, and where a small charity is looking to raise funds for a good cause, we are open to discussion.

Diary
The choir is typically booked well in advance, with several months often required by way of notice. However, please contact us if this may be an issue, and we would be happy to discuss optional dates

Repertoire
The choir currently has an extremely broad repertoire of pieces, ranging from male voice standards, through to religious works, and some interesting modern items. Where possible, we would look to accommodate any particular requests, but as you would expect, our musical director would always be the final arbiter of any content.

Musical Partners
Over the years, we have performed alongside other choirs and brass bands, in combined concerts. These have included the Rossendale Ladies Choir, Black Dyke Band, Fairey Geneva Band, Leyland Band and the 2nd Rossendale Scout Band, who have themselves played at Buckingham Palace.

In particular, the Rossendale Ladies Choir has a long and successful history in its own right, and we have enjoyed a close working relationship with them for many years. When the ladies choir join with the men, we frequently perform as a mixed choir, bringing a whole new level of excitement and volume to our presentation. This formula has proved particularly successful in larger venues, where a massed choir of 70+ singers can have real impact.

Fees for these organisations would be negotiated separately, but we can give you an indication of their historic costs, if required. We will of course, sing with any band that you invite from your local community, if that is your preference.

Team Effort
We have a team within the choir who deal with the practicalities of concerts, and they will give you any assistance you may require. This could be in terms of staging, advertising, musical programme etc. We thereby ensure that we all have the opportunity to enjoy your event.

Once a definite booking has been made we will supply you with a CD containing our Press Pack. This will give you all the information, logos and photographs you need to produce your publicity material.
